HEAD Logistics has been a trusted partner in transport, warehousing and value added services for almost 30 years, providing reliable and tailor-made logistics support across Europe and beyond. Founded in the Netherlands, we have grown from a local company to an international logistics group with operations in the Netherlands, Germany and the Czech Republic. Today, we manage more than 60 truck combinations daily and have multiple warehouses, combining decades of experience with innovative thinking.

History
In 1995, Poels-Janssen Logistics was established and started importing and exporting asparagus. These were transported to third parties.
- Rene Poels sets the foundation of the company with 2 trucks from his home in Meerlo, in The Netherlands.
- A year after its establishment, Poels-Janssen's fleet consists of 7 trucks in combination with trailers. A storage and transhipment warehouse is built on location in Meerlo. This enables the company to transport other goods besides agricultural products for various new customers.
- In 2002, Smits transport from Horst is taken over. Poels-Janssen moved to the new location in Horst, creating a new and larger storage and transhipment area.
- In 2006, HEAD Logistics s.r.o. in CZ was taken over. This further expands our international presence.
- In 2015, a branch was realised in Pössneck under the name HEAD Logistics GmbH. With possibilities for warehousing, value added services and transports a great development for the company.
- In 2017, Schers transporten is taken over. This further expands the number of trucks.
- In early 2018, the garage is renovated, the warehouse is expanded by 2,500 m2 and the site is further paved.
- In 2022, the new warehouse on the Horst industrial estate was opened.
- In 2025, the company completely operates under the name HEAD Logistics.
